Our club is called S.T.A.R.S. which is the acronym of the school’s core five values, affectionately called ‘The Big Five’ by the children in school:
Skills & knowledge for life
Respond to challenge
We endeavour to provide an atmosphere and activities similar to those at home by providing secure, safe & healthy care before and after the school day which builds on home life by:
The club consists of breakfast club from 7.30am to 8.50am and after school club which is open from 3.20pm to 5.45pm. Breakfast club is £4.50 per session and after school is £6.50 per session.
Children should be dropped off at breakfast club from 7.30am and they will then be sent to their classrooms from 8.50am for an 8.55am start.
After school children will be reminded by their teacher to go to the club in the bungalow at the end of the day if they are in years 5/6. The year 3/4 children will be collected by a member of club staff and taken to the bungalow.
They should be collected by parents/carers as detailed on the registration form by 5.45pm

Each day the children have the opportunity to join in a range of activities. This can include reading/homework time, board games, table top toys, outdoor play, craft/art activities, sport and much more.
Activities will take place in the school bungalow in the bungalow garden area or on the school grounds where all of our play equipment is age appropriate (i.e.Key Stage 2)
We provide a healthy breakfast in the morning which consists of a selection of cereals, toast, fruit and a drink. A light snack is served between 4.15pm and 4.30pm after school. This will be a changing menu of items such as sandwiches, toast with toppings, soup, pasta & rice.
The children will be encouraged to help clear away and occasionally help to prepare food to start to learn some basic cooking skills.
