School Day Structure
8:45am: Gates at Ghost House Lane and ‘Top Gate’ are opened by Mr Rigley our caretaker to allow pupils and parents onto the school site.
(The ‘Top Gate’ will be closed from October half term to March)
8:55am: The bell rings, letting pupils know to line up outside their classrooms.
8:55/9am: Pupils are registered in class by their class teachers
9/9:10am: The first session of the day begins (this is usually literacy or numeracy)
10:10am: Assembly in the hall (apart from on a Monday when assembly is ‘Music Time’ 2:50-3:15pm)
10:30am: Break time
10:45am: The bell rings for the end of break and pupils line up outside their classroom.
10:45am: The second session of the day begins (this is usually literacy or numeracy)
1:00pm: The bell rings for the end of lunch and pupils line up outside their classrooms
1:00pm: The afternoon session begins (structure of afternoon lesson can vary)
2:15pm: Break time
2:25pm: The bell rings for the end of break and pupils line up outside their classrooms
3:20pm: End of the school day
