To start the day off, spend 10 minutes completing pg 37. Remember to show your working out. After 10 minutes, use the answers to mark and correct any you have got wrong
Today's first job is to go back to the work you completed on Thursday and use the answers below to mark. Please complete any corrections for the ones you have got wrong.
Today, we will be comparing the area of shapes.
First, write the short date 29.01.21 and the title Comparing area of shapes. Use your ruler to underline both.
Next, have a look at the criteria below and complete the recap and anchor task.
If you are in Miss Groves' or Miss Cameron's group, complete the red/orange sheet and if you feel confident with that move onto the green task.
If you would like to challenge yourself further then have ago at the purple task.
If you are in Mrs Bennett's group, complete the green task and then move onto the purple task. If you are unsure then you may need to go back and complete the red/orange task first.
For literacy today, we are going to test last weeks spellings and work on a new set on spellings for this week
As a starter for this lesson we would like you to complete another quiz on this weeks learning. You need to complete all 10 questions and again you will be asked to put your name in, so that we can see who has participated in the quiz.
First, ask a grown up to test you on last weeks spellings.
Then, we would like you to look at the spelling ideas document below and choose how you would like to learn your spellings. Your new spelling lists are also below, please make sure you learn the correct spellings.
Please do keep going over your spellings during the week as you will once again be tested as part of your learning next week.
This afternoon, we would like you to take some time to do some physical activity.
Last half term, we did gymnastics, so we have a little challenge for you to see how flexible you are feeling. Below, is a feeling flexible document, which shares 5 exercises for you to carry out. We would like you to carry out each exercise and repeat the circuit three times through. Make sure you give yourselves 30 seconds rest between each activity.
