The last week of the Autumn term - are you on the countdown to Christmas?!
Please start the day by reading your chosen book, poem, comic or magazine for at least 20 minutes (get an adult to sign your diary). Then, spend some time practicing your times tables on TTRS - don't forget to complete 1 studio and 5 garage sessions for homework this week.
Start today's numeracy lesson by completing the 'Flashback 4' as your reactivating prior knowledge task - how much have you remembered? Then, we would like you to complete a lesson on using the inverse to check your answers. Watch the video, pausing it to solve the questions on the screen, then complete the questions on the worksheet.
Reflecting on our learning of nouns, adjectives and verbs this term, sort the words into the correct word class. Once you have finished, use the answer sheet at the very end to check your answers in purple pen.
Challenge - can you add some of you own words in the correct column?
Think back to our key question, 'Has Christmas lost its true meaning?' - what are your thoughts on this? Do you agree or disagree? Explain your answer in full sentences.
TASK: If you could give the world one gift at Christmas to make it a better place, what would it be? Present this work as creatively as possible - it could be through a colourful picture, a poem, a poster made on the computer or even some writing. The choice is yours!
