Special Educational Needs and Disability

Eskdale Junior School supports a whole-school approach to special needs and disability where the teaching staff, parents, children and governors co-ordinate their efforts for the benefit of the children. The education provided is aimed at serving the individual needs of the “whole child”. 

 

As part of our quality first approach to teaching, we use a range of strategies to help SEND pupils to access the curriculum. Information on the adaptations that we make to support SEND pupils in class can be found below and on the individual curriculum pages on this website.
