Good morning year 4! Its Wednesday, which means we are already at the middle of the week. Here is a day full of fun learning activities.
To start the day off, spend 10 minutes completing arithmetic pg 35. After 10 minutes, use the answers to mark and correct any you have got wrong.

Make a list of the words that rhyme with each other in the poem.
Finally, complete the following activity on rhyming words. You need to look at the word and come up with 3 other words that rhyme with the word.
This will help you when you begin to plan your own poem.

First, write the short date 27.01.21 and the title Area- Counting squares. Use your ruler to underline both.
Next, have a look at the criteria below and complete your recap and anchor task.
If you are in Miss Groves' or Miss Cameron's group, complete the red/orange task and if you feel confident with that then complete the green task.
If you would like to challenge yourself further then have ago at the purple task.
