Wednesday 6th January

Today, we will be converting between fractions and percentages like yesterday, but also adding in decimals too.

First, have a look at the criteria and complete the recap.

This video will also show you how to covert between fractions, decimals and percentages

This is "Spr6.3.5 - Equivalent FDP" by White Rose Maths on Vimeo, the home for high quality videos and the people who love them.

Next, look through the slides which will show you how to do it.

If you are in Miss Graves' group complete the red and orange tasks. See if you can have a go at green.

If you are in Miss Tabram's group, complete the orange and green tasks (you might need to start at red if you're not sure).

If you are in Mrs Playford's group, complete orange first then work your way through all the tasks.

For Literacy today, imagine that you have built your own time machine and have crash landed on an planet that looks like this:

Have a think about what the planet is like. What is in the sky? What is on the ground? Does it smell of anything? What sounds can you hear?

Today, you will be planning a setting description of this planet. Use the planning sheet to help you. We have included pictures of our washing lines so that you can choose some of those words too. Try to use some of the new words that we read yesterday in the text - they will make your writing more interesting and exciting!

In RE this term, we are going to be thinking about the Big Question 'Is anything ever eternal?' In this lesson, you will be thinking about what YOU think, before we move on to look at what Christians believe in later lessons.

Have a look at the slides and then complete the sheet.
