Week beginning 23rd November

Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th November

On these two days we will be looking at reading and plotting points on coordinate grids. Start with the first quadrant work before you move to the four quadrants work.

Remember: Along the corridor (left and right), then up/down the stairs...

The coordinates questions in the first quadrant sheet do get more tricky. Try to answer questions 1 and 2 for red, then the next questions are for orange - purple.

If you are able to, you can print these grids to plot the coordinates. (You don't need all of them - choose the right one.)

Otherwise, you can draw grids in your home-learning exercise book (with a ruler!):

Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th November

These two days are going to be assessment days to see how your maths is coming along. We cannot send these tests home, so will give you time to do these when you are back in school.

On these two days, choose something from your home-school booklet. You can also use the time to look at work from previous weeks on the website and choose to work on a topic you would like to practise a bit more.

Friday 27th November

Today we are starting our look at decimal numbers. We will look at the value of the different digits up to 3 decimal places.
