Week Beginning 7th December

Monday 7th December

There are 2 lessons of maths today (and no literacy).

We will be working on division sums, where we need to decide what the answer tells us in the context of the question.

Wednesday 9th to Friday 11th December

For these 3 days we will be looking at how decimals can be written as fractions (so that they still mean the same thing, but are written in different ways.

There are some that it is best to learn, and we will look at how to convert those you don't know.

Ones to learn:

1/10 = 0.1

1/100 = 0.01

1/2 = 0.5

1/4 = 0.25

3/4 = 0.75

1/5 = 0.2, 2/5 = 0.4 etc.

1/8 = 0.125

These tasks get progressively more tricky. Have a look at each one and do what you can, then move on. If the sheets 1 and 2 are very easy for you, you can also move on and start on sheet 3.
